Coaching

I have an approachable, strengths-based and practical coaching style. I work with individuals and teams to create a safe, supportive space that starts at where you are at, explores where you want to be, and how to get there – without the fluff or jargon. My role as coach is to ask the right questions, listen deeply, and help you connect the dots between insight and action.

Whether it is individual, group or team coaching, I'm not about quick fixes or surface-level solutions – my focus is on sustainable growth. My goal is to work with you to help you see what’s possible, and walk alongside you as you make meaningful progress on your coaching goals – both personally and professionally.

I'm very comfortable coaching in face to face, hybrid and virtual settings for individuals, groups and teams.

Facilitation

I believe facilitated sessions should be engaging, grounded, purposeful and full of energy, especially the virtual ones. I aim to create spaces where real conversations happen, people connect, and ideas and actions generated — whether it's in a room full of people, a small group huddle, or across screens around the world.

I'm not about ticking boxes or boring you with unnecessary slides. I design experiences that are purposeful, reflective, with the right sprinkling of playfulness. And when it comes to virtual facilitation and online learning — I am totally all in. I absolutely love the buzz of bringing people together online, making virtual spaces feel alive, personal, and packed with possibility.

At the heart of it all, I totally enjoy guiding people toward moments that matter. I endeavour to balance structure with spontaneity, depth with warmth — and I always keep it real.

Learning Design

I'm a learning designer who cares deeply about people and purpose and is absolutley passionate about effective learning design and learning evaluation. I believe in using a human centre design to craft learning experiences that engage hearts and minds, especially with a focus on incorporating Te ao Māori constructs into my work.

My approach to learning design and learning evaluation is curious, collaborative, and values-driven. I ask smart questions to understand what really matters and is needed, then co-design to ensure the learning meets expected outcomes.

I believe in creating connection before content — and designing learning that helps people do something better, see something differently, or feel more confident in what they do. And I'm not afraid to challenge assumptions along the way.

Crackin' LnD (Down Under)

And finally, I love building learning community and am proud to have founded the Crackin' LnD (Down Under) Virtual Learning Community in June of 2024.

Crackin' LnD (Down Under) is about building a connected virtual community of LnD professionals in NZ, Australia and the Pacific Islands where stretching our thinking is the norm, and learning innovation flourishes.

Crackin’ LnD is a safe place to connect, share and test ideas, stretch our thinking, challenge and hone our practice. A place to collaborate and discuss how we lift the lid on learning that sticks and has impact.

At 460+ members we get crackin' into meet ups, webinars, fireside chats, mulls and great conversation.
